SkateDC Weekend 2019 offers FOUR days of skating and other activities in and around the nation's capital on Memorial Day Weekend, when Rolling Thunder (a massive annual motorcycle rally) will also be hitting the streets. Please join Washington Area Roadskaters May 24 - 27.

We’ll have at least two skates every day Friday through Sunday, and one on Monday. Our Sunday afternoon skate will catch Rolling Thunder’s final ride through DC – a tradition that’s ending after 31 years. Please stay tuned for skate times, t-shirt info, and other deets.

Hotel:

We'll be back at the Palomar this year, at 2121 P Street NW. Please book by April 24 to get the group rate, which waives the standard amenity fee ($22.99 per night) and includes free wifi and late check-out of 1 PM on Sunday or Monday. The first five rooms to reserve will get free upgrades. National Skate Patrol:

SkateDC Weekend is a National Skate Patrol scheduled event. If you are a member of the NSP, please let us know if you would like to help with marking turns or (especially) with sweeping.

Skate Meeting Point:

Meeting point for all skates, unless otherwise noted, will be at Dupont Circle, which is a short distance from the hotel. We will NOT be meeting at the White House. Skates will depart from the meeting point within 15 minutes.
